Hi everyone,
I'm looking for helpers for the following things for ANUCON this year: - BBQ (2 people for lunchtime each day) - Setup on Friday (anyone is welcome) - Bye player (1 person for each game, may or may not be needed)
If you aren't playing but can help out for any of the above - even if it's just one game as bye player or lunch for one of the two days - please let me know!
Also, if anyone has terrain they would be willing to lend the club for the weekend (drop off either on Friday night or very early Saturday morning) also please let me know.
Cheers all!
Luke
PS: don't forget early discount payments close on September 9th!

I'm happy to loan terrain to the club for the weekend. I can supply around 3 tables worth if needed. And I deliberately chose to sign up with an army that is 99% painted already so I should be able to help with the setting up on Friday.

Just a pre-emptive reminder that ANUCON setup is this Friday the 23rd from 7pm onwards - if people can make it, I would be very thankful! We'll set up tables and the terrain then, so if you want a sneak peek at the table setups then feel free to come along and give us a hand. Also, I will need someone to give me a hand on Friday night for a special secret project of mine which will mean the drinks are better this year...

I'll do my best to help setup on Friday though I may be stupidly jetlagged and need to skip it. I may also have some terrain if it is needed.

I'll try and be there too, Luke. Where exactly is it?

ANUCON is at Moran 7/8/9/10 - our usual rooms for wargaming. Setup is from 7pm on Friday, if you feel like dropping by and giving us a hand then great We probably have more than enough people now, but the more people we have the quicker it'll go. Cheers everyone

Do you need terrain still?

If everyone comes through with what they promised so far, we should be okay - but more is better, especially considering I'll need a couple of extra tables this year, to avoid any tables being too sparse.
If you can manage it and don't mind lending it, great, but if it's a hassle don't worry about it.

My Terraclips stuff arrived while I was on holidays, and I've put a little bit together. Will bring it along and you can decide if you want to use it or not.

Ok, I will bring all 3 boxes I think it is very good for skirmish games and roleplaying purposes, however it is harder to use it for say 40k because most of the pieces are solid, so blocks a lot of line of sight.

Blocks a lot of LOS? We call that sort of thing 'The Tactical Challenge' table. It's somewhat traditional ;D
