So been a wait since I first announced this was coming back this year. Time for some updates.
ANUWTF is an annual event held by the ANU wargaming society. Along with its brother tournament ANUCON it is designed to provide a friendly tournament environment, where people can come together and get some guaranteed games, battle some hard battles, have some fun. It also acts as fundraiser for our humble club, providing some much needed cash to ensure we can continue to run our organisation for gamers.
anuwargamingsociety.proboards.com/ our forums if you wish to learn more. We don't charge anything for our regularly gaming nights, and aim to cater to one and all!

251-450 12 8
451-750 13 7
751-1150 14 6
1151-1550 15 5
1501-2100+ 16 4
Painting:
Painting will be a simple - got some colours on your army? Few highlights? Did some conversions? Sprayed and then slapped your miniatures with dipping, foundation, maybe a wash? GREAT! 10 points.
Seriously this tournament is meant to encourage everyone to come out and have a great time. People will acknowledge great looking armies with compliments and praise. However this tournament is for all players to have some fun. There are other great tournaments in Canberra and interstate that you might spend weeks painting till 5 am the morning before it. This one, just come and have some fun!
Comp:
Its out of 10, I'll rank it depending on how hardcore it is. There are enough restrictions to curb certain things. I will be looking very closely at certain magic item and character combinations. If I think your list it too disgusting I WILL ask you to resubmit. I'm not going to be too anal, but this tournament isn't for people to crush people utterly into the dust. Its friendly, and fun - please keep this in mind. I want the comp score not to shatter more competitive lists, but there are things I won't tolerate. You can msg me through the forums about what is acceptable. TBH people who play more competitively will probably be familiar with the combinations I'm talking about
Sports:
I'll go into more detail about sports later.
Hopefully this is all enough for people to start more serious planning! I'll be updating this more and more next couples of days. Some slightly amendments might occur - not army size, dates or anything like that though
Enjoy!
